Privacy notice
This Privacy Policy explains how 1001610592 ONTARIO INC., operating as adzy, collects, uses, and protects personal information through adzy.studio. It also applies to our editor and the APIs we operate.
Last updated August 3, 2026
Information we collect
We collect three categories of information: data you provide, data generated as you use the product, and a small amount of technical data your browser sends automatically.
- Account information. Name, email address, and authentication identifiers from providers such as Google when you sign in.
- Project content. Prompts, references, generated and uploaded media, edits, and project settings you store in adzy.
- Billing information. Subscription state, plan tier, credit balance, and ledger entries. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
- Usage and device data. Pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser, OS, and diagnostic logs.
How we use it
- To operate, secure, and improve the editor and the video formats you build inside it.
- To process payments, top-ups, and refunds, and to issue receipts.
- To respond to support requests and notify you about material service changes.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
AI providers and model processing
adzy orchestrates third-party generative-AI models to produce images, video, audio, and captions on your behalf. When you submit a prompt or reference, the relevant content is forwarded to the provider hosting the chosen model under data-processing agreements that prohibit training on your inputs. You can review the active provider for any clip in the project node's metadata.
Outputs returned by providers are stored in your project until you delete them. We do not use your project content to train adzy's own models.
When we share information
- With service providers that operate parts of adzy (hosting, storage, email, payments, analytics, model inference) under written agreements limiting their use of your data.
- With authorities when required by valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
- With a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you and continuity of these commitments.
We do not sell personal information. If you accept non-essential cookies, our website loads the Meta Pixel, which reports your page views and a small set of conversion events — sign-up, checkout started, trial started — to Meta against the identifiers Meta already holds for your browser, so that we can measure and target the advertising we buy for adzy. Under California law that may amount to sharing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. It does not happen unless you accept: declining non-essential cookies stops it, and you can change that choice at any time.
Who processes your data on our behalf
These are the categories of provider we rely on, and the main providers in each. We may add or change providers as the product evolves; for the current list, write to us at legal@adzy.studio.
- Hosting, storage, and compute — Vercel, Amazon Web Services, Neon.
- Payments — Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- AI model inference — fal.ai, OpenAI, Fish Audio, and the model providers behind the models you select.
- Real-time collaboration — Liveblocks.
- Email delivery — Resend.
- Market and competitive data — Firecrawl, ScrapeCreators, RapidAPI, and platform ad libraries.
- Advertising platforms you connect — Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Snapchat, Pinterest. These act on the ad accounts you connect, at your direction.
- Advertising measurement on our own website — Meta, through the Meta Pixel described under Cookies and analytics, and only where you have accepted non-essential cookies.
- Security, abuse prevention, and reliability — Cloudflare, Upstash, Amazon Rekognition for upload scanning, and our error-monitoring provider.
Data from connected advertising accounts
If you connect an advertising account, we access it using the permissions you grant and retrieve the data needed to operate the features you use — campaign structure, creatives, budgets, and performance metrics. We use that data to run those features for you, and in aggregated, de-identified form to improve the product. We do not use it to advertise to your customers, and we do not sell it.
Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted before storage. You can revoke our access at any time from your connections settings or from the platform directly; revoking stops future access, and we delete stored tokens for that connection.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we process personal data on these bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the service, billing, and support); our legitimate interests (securing the service, preventing abuse and fraud, and improving the product), balanced against your rights; your consent, where we ask for it, such as for non-essential cookies or marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time; and compliance with our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
Automated decision-making
adzy uses automated systems to score creatives, rank content, detect abuse, and — where you have enabled it — to make advertising decisions within a budget envelope you authorised. These operate on your own business data and on advertising you control. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. You can turn automated advertising features off at any time, and you can ask us to review any automated action that affected your account.
Marketing communications
We send transactional messages you cannot opt out of while you hold an account — billing notices, security alerts, and service changes. We send product and marketing email only where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits it, and every such message carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Because we operate from Canada, we handle commercial electronic messages in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, and we keep records of consent.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of first-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate product usage. Where required by law we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can clear cookies and disable them in your browser at any time.
We also use one third-party advertising technology on this website: the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta. It is non-essential, so it loads only after you have accepted non-essential cookies in our banner. While it is active it reports your page views and a small set of conversion events — sign-up, checkout started, trial started — to Meta, so that we can measure and target the advertising we buy. If you decline, the pixel is never loaded and it sends nothing. This is separate from any Meta ad account you choose to connect, which we access at your direction and which this cookie choice does not affect.
Retention
We keep account, project, and billing data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can delete individual projects from the editor, and you can delete your account by emailing us at legal@adzy.studio. Backups age out on a rolling schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at legal@adzy.studio. We will verify your request and respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
International transfers
adzy is operated globally; your data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.
Children
adzy is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and our terms require you to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it and close the account.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-product and the “Last updated” date at the top of this section will be revised.
